Dr. Alolga delivers Pharmacognosy lectures to undergraduate and post graduate students (masters) as well as supervise their research works. His thematic research areas span across many fields in the pharmaceutical sciences including nanotechnology, pharmacokinetic studies, quality evaluations and standardization of herbal medicines, microbiomics, metabolomics, proteomics, quality control and assurance of allopathic medicines and bioprospecting of medicinal plants for pharmacologically-active lead compounds. He is an Editorial Board member for the African Journal of Traditional, Complementary and Alternative Medicines, Pharmacognosy Research, Associate Editor for Pharmacology & Toxicology of Natural Medicines and an Editor for Scientific African journal. He also serves as a reviewer for many reputable peer-reviewed journals such as Food Chemistry, Industrial Crops and Products, Journal of Pharmacy and Pharmacology, Journal of Agriculture and Food Chemistry, Process Biochemistry, Journal of the Science of Food and Agriculture, etc.
